Records Administration
Records Administration's mission is to maintain accurate employment records in an electronic file for staff and students, which consists of approximately 6000 staff and 3000 students. Our primary goal is to correctly enter employee data into the employee database to guarantee an accurate paycheck.
Student Operations is responsible for the administration of the Federal Work/Study Program and the maintenance of all student job lists (both Work/Study and Non-Work/Study) via the student employment web site.
Our services include:
- Ensuring employment data is accurate and maintained in compliance with standards of confidentiality, University policies, and legal requirements.
- Maintaining employee information.
- Processing new hire paperwork and staff and student employment forms.
- Overseeing the employment verification process.
- Writing wage assignment letters.
- Temporary Seasonal Shutdown Stipend (Local 743).
- Assisting students with Federal Work Study and student employment.
- Initiate short term disability payments.
