The University of Chicago operates an in-house temporary employment service called UC Temps. UC Temps hires temporary employees on an as-needed basis to meet short-term department needs. Working on a temporary assignment is a great way to gain valuable skills and learn more about the University. Temporary assignments may lead to regular employment at the University.
Temporary employees complete clerical and administrative assignments, on an as-needed basis, in various departments within the University.
