Graham School of General Studies

As part of the education assistance benefit, University staff members may enroll for certain job-related courses offered by the Graham School of General Studies at no cost. Tuition is divided equally between the University and the Graham School, with the employee’s department contributing an administrative fee of $100 or $150 based on the course.

Employees may enroll in two Graham School courses per quarter under the benefit. Learn more about the educational assistance program or find out how to register for Graham School courses.

Business and Professional Programs certificate courses provide quality career-related education using an intensive seminar format. This allows students to continue developing their careers, broadening their perspectives, and strengthening their skill sets during day, evening, and weekend classes.

Eligibility

To qualify, employees must be benefits-eligible staff members at the University. An eligible employee is a full-time employee working 35 hours or more per week.

Before enrolling in courses at the Graham School, be sure to discuss your plans with your supervisor. You will need to gain approval for paying the departmental administrative fee as well as authorization to be away from the office for an extended period if the class is scheduled during your work day.
